Description:
A small 4mm beetle, reddish brown with black. It has very fine reddish hair which lies flat against the cuticle of the thorax and upper elytra. The antennae are characteristically knobbed with a 3 segmented club. Family Nitidulidae.
Habitat:
Found at night under a light, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
