Description:
Long necked, long billed with hook on tip. Orange throat pouch. Breeding male will have will grow tufts behind the eyes. From the 3 species of cormorants in the area, this one is the only one found also inland.
Habitat:
Found in coastal waters and lakes. Most large bodies of water deep enough for the bird to dive.
