Field Notes

Description:

I spotted this dragonfly when it laboriously flitted across the path I was walking on. It appeared to still be a teneral- the wings weren't hardened yet and it wasn't flying away from me even when I got my camera right up close.

Habitat:

A bog in the piedmont region of SC.
