Field Notes

Description:

This one is a female, it look me a long time to work this one out, it looks nothing like the male which we saw later elsewhere in the park and will be another post.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest on edge of Kinabalu park.

Notes:

These were amongst a mixed feeding flock which turned up outside our hotel window shortly after we arrived. We photographed 5 species, three of which were sunbirds.
