Description:

A tiny (1") painted turtle with dark olive green carapace and a bright reddish orange plastron with yellow on black splotches down the center.

Habitat:

This was found in the edge of a shallow pond on the border of Grand Island, NE.

Notes:

Tiny little thing, but he seemed to know exactly where he wanted to go.
