Description:

Not sure. Found on a damp night in an underpass. About 1.5cm length.

This is a centipede or more correctly, it was a centipede. These scolopendromorph centipedes have about 21 segments and 42 legs. I am uncertain if it is an exuvia (skin shedding) or the cut and damaged section of a real one. The fangs seem visible, and are the two cerci (actually the last two legs which are very long and mimic antennae) . I have seen exuvia before and they are short and constricted, but dry and hollow. Either way, there seems to be a bit of it missing.
i am having browse now, but its unusual i have never seen one, ever!
