Description:

A small grasshopper around 1 inch long, the color of dey grass. I think it's possibly a young katydid?

It looks to me like a western tree cricket, but the range doesn't match up.
This little insect is a species of Tree Cricket. It is an adult female. You can tell because she has an ovipositor and a full set of wings. Here is a link you can check out for more information. http://bugguide.net/node/view/158769
