Habitat:

grass stems on a ridge above a suburb by the coast in woodland

Notes:

This is a fairly accurate example of the colour of the moth that was photographed and seems to have a red colour shift. That may be a local thing, or the fact that the moth was asleep at night or the angle of the light or I may have the wrong species but the markings are very close if it is not the one
