Description:

It's kind of green color macaw with about 40 cm. It has some unusual features, as part of his face that has no feathers and is pale, contrasting with the black nozzle. The plumage is predominantly green. The forehead is red, like the womb. The crown has bluish color. The tail is reddish-brown on top and yellow on the bottom face. There are no physical characteristics that differentiate males and females.

Habitat:

It is found from northeastern Brazil to Argentina in rainforests edges of the lowlands, gallery forests in the savanna interior and forest type "cerrado". In the specific case, it's a pet bird that lives in freedom in a village of Indians Pataxó.
