Field Notes

Description:

About 20mm. Like an assassin bug but narrower and more plainly coloured. Mostly brown with enlarged black spiny rear femurs. I am assuming the piercing mouthparts are tucked out of view.

Habitat:

On a Toyota late at night.

Notes:

Our dog really hates it when I take the camera for a walk at night.
After a quick search I think the fat rear femurs are going to be a problem.
