Field Notes

Description:

They are gray-brown all over with feathers that appear to give a scaled pattern. This was my lifer Inca Dove, had been looking for one for awhile now!

Habitat:

They are in the southwestern US, Mexico, and Central America through Costa Rica. They are found on the ground mostly and are fairly common in urban areas.
