Field Notes

Description:

This plant is a flowering plant. It has 3 in wide white flowers with a purple area in the center. There are 5 petals per flower. It appeared to me that the leaves of this plant were very yummy to some rainforest creature.

Habitat:

This was in a partially-shady area in a secondary-rainforest in Singapore. This was in the middle of the rainforest, but was near the path where it was only partially-shaded.
