Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized, about 5 to 6 cm in wingspan. Brown black above, with many white spots. Reddish and white below.

Habitat:

Edges of mediterranean maquis, in shade close to the beach.

Notes:

Unfortunately, the picture N° 4 shows the state of the beach - quite discreet trash, but still trash...
