was on Ohi'a lehua blossom that had fallen to the ground, old growth Ohi'a forest, 1400' ?

Does anyone think this is a steel blue ladybird beetle larvae? Are there entomologists on this site?
I do see this beauty http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:H-chalybeus_eating_monarch_egg.jpg here on the land ( I posted the original larvae) . The Steel Blue ladybird. She is beaut but her larvae do not look like this one. Never seen a ladybird beetle although there are few interenet references to them being in Hawaii.
This should be interesting... from what I've read, ladybugs are not native to Hawaii. Which explains the difficulty I'm having finding a photo of Hawaiian ladybugs or their larvae.....
I agree... looks like a ladybug larvae. More bristly than the mainland species though.....
