Description:

Large beetle, brown in color with heavy coating of white pubescence.

Habitat:

Canyon with mesquite, oak, cottonwood, and other trees off the desert floor.

Notes:

Nocturnal, attracted to blacklight. Note map location is approximate. Near Santa Rita Experimental Range research station in Florida Canyon, Santa Cruz County, Arizona.
