Description:

Thin, pointed bill w/ sloped head cresting. Males tend to be reddish/brown in neck area to head,

Habitat:

Breed in wet wooded areas. Very common in winter in coastal areas.

Notes:

See many times floating and foraging off beach areas in close to shore.
