Field Notes

Description:

Pink flower that fell of the tree. All of the little frills that are on top of the flower were around the tree, and they probably fell off of the flowers on the tree. It was about 3 inches long and 3 inches wide, and the pink frills on the flower had white tips.

Habitat:

The tree itself was tall and the leaves that were on the tree were above the flowers on the tree. The flowers were all on separate branches from the tree, so the leaves provided shade for the flowers. Hot and humid air, sunny weather. bits of sunshine were seeping through the leaves.
