Description:

The Pocket Gopher is larger that most pocket gopher species, pale-drab or grayish-drab species with relatively long, scant-haired tailTexas.
Mounds about twelve inches in diameter and 6 to 8 inches high.

Habitat:

Found this gopher hole in San Angelo, TX during a nature walk in the State Park. It was a sandy area and only sparce areas of grass.
