Field Notes

Description:

This snake is my brothers pet! It is known as a ball python or royal python. Royal python to me makes more since because the scientific name says regius like royalty. Anyways these snakes can get up to 3-5 feet, the record was 6 feet. The lifespan is about 20-30 years. I can always tell a snake is a ball python because of its pattern. These snakes usually don't bite and can be house pets. Our snakes eats live mice.

Habitat:

Dry brushland, cleared forest, open grassland, even cultivated areas.
