Field Notes

Description:

Small, reddish-orange spider less than one inch long, including legs. Two forelegs are long, back legs are shorter. Large, light orange abdomen with dull red stripes. Tiny, rough white spots cover abdomen.
Crawled very slowly. She didn't react much to being caught and examined, so she might've been sick.

Habitat:

Found indoors, crawling on the floor against a wall. Seemed lost, didn't try to hide when caught.

Notes:

Appears to be a female Xysticus funestus, but some photos with that name look exactly like this spider, and some look nothing like it, so I'm not 100% sure.
