Field Notes

Description:

A large spider which I assume to be female, seems to have the markings of a giant house spider. A darker stripe going down her abdomen with spots on each side of the stripe. Her body was almost 3/4 of an inch, with her legs spanning out quite a bit more.

Habitat:

We have quite a few of these large spiders living under our deck where they can hide during the day and come out at night.
