Description:

Wasp moth. Striped body and black and orange spotted wings.

Notes:

I have always called this a Tiger moth but I'm not good enough with insects to guess. Hopefully I can learn here from my noah friends.

Species ID Suggestions

Wasp Moth

Amata sp.

Comments (2)

Arctiidae, Ctenuchinae, Amata sp., unfortunately I can't get closer, I am at the airport. These Amata sp. are very tricky to ID, you have to look at every spot (size, location) to separate them from each other.
