Habitat:

Attracted to lights, cloud forest.

Notes:

Erebidae: Arctiinae, Phaegopterini. Most of the species that look close are in Idalus, but how to rule out other genera like Pachydota?

Yes, Tom's image seems the same species and is from the same part of Honduras. The BOLD image is awfully similar too, isn't it. Colors may have changed after death. Wish the BOLD image was larger. Those specimens are from Central America too, with seeming minor differences as you noted. Thanks, J.!
