Thanks bayucca. I didn't even notice the clearwings before, this moth is even cooler than I thought!
Found another one: http://www.amazilia.net/images/Inverts/Lepidoptera/Moths/Noctuidae_Gaujonia_sp_Ecuador.htm
Noctuidae, Pantheinae, Gaujonia sp. and might be Gaujonia renifera. We had a lot of discussions about these ones... http://www.flickr.com/photos/andreaskay/8171421781/in/pool-787398@N22 http://www.flickr.com/photos/76033499@N00/6095958867/in/set-72157626943210229 http://www.flickr.com/photos/76033499@N00/6175157660/in/set-72157626943210229
Gorgeous! Reminds me of Cerura, specifically Cerura argentina, but that is several hundred miles out of range. http://www.boldsystems.org/index.php/Taxbrowser_Taxonpage?taxon=Cerura%20argentina
