Field Notes

Description:

Cream colored slender moth, with irregular bands or pattern of darker bands across it.
Turquoise blue bands on thorax.

Habitat:

Spotted on a sheet hanging on my porch with black lights and halogens shining on it at night to attract moths. We live in a gated lake community surrounded by rural agricultural land, and some wooded areas.
National Moth Week 2017.

Notes:

Fairly common in my location as there are many host trees surrounding us.
