Description:

This large shrub flowers every May and its flowers last for just a month. Before they turn white and grow to full size, they're light green.

Habitat:

This is a cultivated plant that grows in full sun. Here, it's entangled in other shrubs and adjacent to large trees in an open green space.

Notes:

Hydrangeas are from Asia and the Andes.
