Description:

A large jumping spider which I have never seen before. This is the female of Plexippus paykulli, a cosmopolitan species that dwells in buildings.

Habitat:

Found on the wall behind a house in Kenyalang park, Kuching city, Sarawak. Lives close to the walls of this building.

Notes:

This is the first time I spotted a female of this species. Plexippus paykulli are not found in my neighborhood back in Tawau but it's relative P. petersi is common there. Both of these species also exist in this spotting location. >>>Map accuracy : 20m diameter.
