Field Notes

Description:

Butterfly to 10cm diameter wings, at rest. When the butterfly is at rest it is camouflaged against the forest background. When in flight it can be seen from quite a distance away. The characteristic iridescent blue and the size of the Ulysses is unmistakable.

Habitat:

Cruising the forest of Cattana Wetlands QLD
