Field Notes

Description:

The first picture is from February 20th. I spotted this what looked like eggs on a plastic background I have in an outhouse (a large speaker).

The 2nd picture is from February 27th. There are lighter and darker colored larvae. The yellow mass has shrunk.

3rd picture is from today (Feb 28). Apparently they all turned a bit darker and the yellow mass has shrunk even more (food?).

Habitat:

In Punta del Este, Uruguay, garden.
