Field Notes

Description:

5 to 7mm. Tiny case made of twigs and silk and containing either the caterpillar or the female moth

Habitat:

This one had anchored itself onto the hot glass of of an outdoor light fitting but must have managed not be cooked as it anchored itself to the container it was transported in. It was returned to the spot near but not on that light
