Description:
Pretty Click Beetle, 1.8 cm long, orange with red and black markings. Family Elateridae, subfamily Agrypninae. It looks most like Conoderus nocturnus or C. pilati which have both been reported from Costa Rica (https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/10814484 and https://www.flickr.com/photos/tristanba/8483967562/).
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light. Finca Argovia, Ruta de Cafe, Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico.
