Field Notes

Description:

I found this spider underneath a leaf that was in the middle of its web. This arachnid had eight legs and two body parts, the head and thorax/abdomen. Its legs were striped with black, red, and brown. Its legs looked slightly on the hairier side. The thorax/abdomen was triangular shaped. At the longest point, it was about 3 centimeters. At the widest point, it was about 1.5-2 centimeters.

Habitat:

I found this spider in a secondary rainforest in Singapore.
