Description:

On the American River we struck an aviary treasure chest. There were hundreds of birds enjoying the cool weather and fast currents. There were hundreds of these very fast swallows zooming around. I tried to catch them, but this was the best I could get. What type of swallows are they? Barn? Cliff? There are cliffs along the river.
