Description:

Broadleaf Bulb
The thin, lance-shaped leaves of Dutch irises are 20 to 24 inches tall. The flowers are shades of purple, white or yellow. Some flowers are bicolor.

Habitat:

Xeriscape portion of wildlife habitat yard on Lake Belton. The plants get only rainfall and occasional hand watering.

I love these flowers and they do look similar. The big difference is these come from a bulb, not a rhizome.
