I knew the ID would be tricky here! I haven't made a trip back down to this location yet, but I will sure to look for them if I do!
Apparently the White-faced Ibis replaces the Glossy Ibis in that area. In non-breeding plumage both are almost identical. Yours should look very different now, as per Ashleys' link.
Max, it does have long water-bird legs like a Kildeer! But it was much bigger, definitely something unusual for Oklahoma.
Killdeer a small white and brown with rings around the head. Look up this bird. Glossy almost looks the same but is not
ebird doesn't show any recent sightings recorded for Glossy in the area. Only White-faced.
