Description:

Large white pelican of Africa. Often feed in large groups, creating a whirlpool effect that enables the entire group to catch members of a school of fish. This pair did similar at the water's edge

Habitat:

Ngorongoro crater picnic area

Notes:

stopping for a picnic on safari is one of my favorite ways of finding elusive spottings
