Field Notes

Description:

Tiny white flowers with four notched petals are maybe a quarter-inch across. Seeds have tufts, and open in a kinda spider-web type pattern. Leaves are smooth and slightly serrated, and get larger closer to the base of the plant. Stems are reddish and grow outwards and upwards in an orderly pattern. Seems to like damp areas. Not 100% sure on this ID, but this was the closest things I could find.

Habitat:

open field, damp area
