Description:

Bee, quite possibly a honey bee. However, the markings on the abdomen look darker than what I remember for honey bees.

Habitat:

Nectaring on Southern Dewberry in an open area on a pond dam. Midlands of South Carolina at the Silver Bluff Audubon Center near Jackson (Aiken County), SC.
