Description:
Shoebills are big stork-like a birds with a yellow bill that is shaped like a shoe. It has black feathers and tall legs. Its neck is quite short. Shoebills are able to stand still for long times, like a bird-statue. This Shoebill was quite tall, probably around 1 meter in height.
Habitat:
This Shoebill lives in Jurong Bird Park Singapore. The spot that it lives had a small water fall and a lot of ground plantations. It was living in a shady area there.
