Description:

A Northern Hemisphere Salmonid this particular fish is part of a successfully transplanted population of self sustaining breeding fish in the Limietberg Reserve outside of Cape Town South Africa.

Habitat:

Clear water rivers and lakes, locally (in South Africa) limited to high elevations where summer temperatures are not too high. Non invasive in these locations due to limitations of temperature range.
