Field Notes

Description:

This plant has long wide leaves, which are about 50 cm long. Its height is about 2 meters. It has long, red flowers. The seed pods are green and have a fuzzy looking texture. They feel hard and have white little things sticking out of them.

Habitat:

This plant was growing in Singapore Botanic Gardens. It was in a pretty sunny area of the garden. The climate there was cool and wet, because it recently rained. I spotted this plant at 6:46 PM.
