Description:

An unusually large and brightly patterned Plume Moth or Feather Winged Moth of the Family Pterophoridae. Almost 2 cm long. This one stays raised off the substrate on all 6 legs with the tip of the abdomen curled upwards.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, semi-urban area on the outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters.
