Field Notes

Description:

This tree was immensely large, its diameter about 60-70 cm wide. It also was very tall, probably over 10 meters tall. The bark was dark colored and it had quite a lot of long branches and an abundance of leaves. Something to note is that this tree had many long slender aerial roots hanging from above.

Habitat:

This tree was growing in Singapore Botanic Gardens. The climate there was very humid, because it just rained, but the tree was in an area where it can get good amounts of sunlight. I spotted it at 6:40 PM.
