Field Notes

Description:

This fungi was about 6-7 cm tall. Its cap colors are dull brown, grey, and cinnamon. The cap has many rings on it and was white colored at the edges. It has a short brown stem that was approximately 0.5 cm in diameter. This fungi seemed to be growing individually, and there were no others around. The rims of the cap were a bit rigid.

Habitat:

This mushroom was growing on the soil near a tree. It was surrounded by a thick layer of dead leaves and twigs. The area it was in was quite shady. I spotted it at 12:34 PM.
