Thanks for commenting, Gordon! Sorry, the place I put was actually wrong. I spotted in Vancouver.
Most gray squirrels are gray, as their name implies. But a few are black and that is what you've photographed. Black colored gray squirrels are not uncommon in some areas and relatively rare in others. I didn't realize that eastern gray squirrels lived this far north and west. I've learned something!
