Hi Leana, I think not A. virescens, which has greyish/blackish abdomen and looks like this one - http://www.discoverlife.org/mp/20q?guide=Apoidea_species. Agapostemon sp. could be safe for now. I have a similar spotting which I am trying to identify also :)
