Description:

It has dark plumage. Its neck is long. It will swim w/ its neck above the water. It is sometimes called the snake bird.

Habitat:

Shallow warm waters.

Notes:

Before completely consuming this fish, the ANHI hit the fish several times against a dead tree along the bank of the creek where it was.
