Field Notes

Description:

There are leaves high in the trees. There are no obvious fruits or flowers. There are also strands hanging down from the lower parts of the tree. The strands are long, spiky, brown and rough. The root system of the plant was buttress and the bark texture was rough. There are no leaves anywhere on the tree, it is just bark and branches.

Habitat:

It was growing in the midst of other plants, in a humid, hot area of the rain-forest.
