Field Notes

Description:

This tree was about 10 metres tall. Leaves and bark texture unknown as we did not go off the path. The 'weeping' fruit (or is it the flower?) was around 15 cm long, maybe longer. It is the only plant that's leaves are subdivided twice and also has a unique way of flowering in a mop shape.

Habitat:

Secondary rainforest. It was in the middle section, though we could not see if it reached up to the canopy.
