Field Notes

Description:

second pic shows a forked fruitbody which makes me think of Xylaria hypoxylon, third pic shows one with a 'top-heavy' fruitbody which makes me think of a very small Xylaria longipes. The small green lines in the last photo indicate the length of someof the fruitbodies in relation to a regular sized penknife multitool. Here's a website with a key to Genus of Xylariacae: http://mycology.sinica.edu.tw/Xylariaceae/acceptgenera.asp?qrySectionNa…

Notes:

cr2, currently have a sample. location might not be exact. found in my sisters garden
